Saratoga posters tour November 1, 2024
This is the official statement that SARATOGA has issued, to explain what this new adventure will consist of, which will take them across the country, once again:
“32 years give us a lot of time. Many concerts… many albums… Talking to you, our fans, you have always asked us to rescue a specific song or another for the shows. SARATOGA have decided to start a tour, starting in the fall of 2024, where we can bring back to life many of those songs that, although some were not played live, have been present in some way in all of us. Many of the songs, from two albums in particular, are going to sound like thunder in the concerts. Of course, without forgetting our most emblematic songs. The tour will be called El Clan De Los Lobos and as some of you may have already guessed, it will focus on the albums El Clan De La Lucha and Tierra De Lobos.
We are as excited as you are to be able to enjoy such an exclusive and unique event that will undoubtedly mark a new challenge to overcome. But it is not just that. We will alternate this tour with the recording of the band's next album, which will only feature unreleased songs and will be released in 2025. More news is impossible. From now on you have the first dates and venues, as well as advance ticket sales. Welcome to El Clan De Los Lobos!
For those who don't know SARATOGA, which we doubt, because we already had them here in February 2023, presenting their latest brand new double album + live DVD, " La historia sigue ", recorded on October 22, 2022 at the Madrid venue La Riviera; as well as in 2021, within their 30th anniversary tour with their album " XXX ", we can say that we are dealing with a band originating in the Madrid municipality of Fuenlabrada, back in 1992, by Fructuoso "Fortu" Sánchez on vocals, bassist Niko del Hierro and guitarist Jero Ramiro.
After numerous line-up changes and ups and downs in their activity, SARATOGA re-emerged with force after their reunion in 2014. Currently, the band - which has released a dozen albums - is made up of the aforementioned Jero Ramiro and Niko Del Hierro (the only member who has remained throughout the band's history), plus the charismatic Tete Novoa on vocals (in the band since 2007), and newcomer Arnau Marti on drums.
